Veterinary internships abroad
Are you a veterinary student looking to gain valuable hands-on experience abroad? Our veterinary internship program offers exciting opportunities for students like you to assist veterinary doctors and technicians in clinics around the world. By participating in our program, you can work closely with animals, providing essential care and support in various ways.
As an intern, you’ll have the chance to be involved in a wide range of tasks, from assisting with medical procedures and administering medication to feeding, bathing, and even helping with obedience training. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to animal rehabilitation efforts, making a real difference in the lives of these creatures.
We welcome interns at all levels of experience, so whether you’re just starting your veterinary studies or have already completed a related degree, we have placement options for you. However, preference is given to participants who have a background in animal care.
While on your internship, you’ll also have the chance to immerse yourself in a new culture and develop your language skills. Basic Spanish communication skills are required at a minimum level, allowing you to effectively communicate with local staff and clients.
During your internship, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of animals, including dogs, cats, horses, and other species. Our program emphasizes hands-on learning, allowing you to develop practical skills and gain confidence in your abilities. Additionally, you will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced veterinarians who are passionate about teaching and sharing their knowledge.
You will also have the chance to collaborate with fellow veterinary students from around the world, fostering a global network of like-minded professionals. This exchange of ideas and experiences will further enhance your learning and broaden your perspective on veterinary medicine.
