How to get started?

How it all works

Sign up to one of our programs and let us take care of all the planning.

Signing up for one of our programs starts with our easy application form.We walk you through every step of the way, from pre-departure to the trip itself.

Either as a volunteer, intern, or as part of a group; we provide a safe, easy, and rewarding way to travel with a purpose.

Step #1

Choose a project & destination
Choose the project and destination that better fits your intererests and profile. If you are not sure which project or destination to choose from, feel free to send us a message for some guidance.

Step #2

Apply for free and receive guidance
Fill out our easy online application form and let us know about your travel dates,interests,destination and other details and one of our team members will reach out to you shortly to confirm your travel details and guide you through your options and the the next steps.

Step #3

Register and save your space in the program
Make a deposit to your program in the form of a registration fee.This deposit ensures your space in the program and covers all the pre-departure support needed. Your deposit is valid for up to 12 months from the day you book and is valid for any of our programs.

Step #4

Prepare your documents and receive pre-departure guidance
We will ask you for some basic documents and a copy of your resume(or bio),and in the case of medical internships you will be asked to provide proof of training. We will also guide you on how to get health insurance for your trip.You can book with whichever insurance company you prefer. If you already have a policy that covers while on the trip, you can use it instead.

Step #5

Finalize your payment
Once you submitted your documents, it's time to finalize your program payment. You can do this at any time up to 45 days before departure.

Purchase your plane tickets and travel!
