The women empowerment program exists to help women overcome tough situations and empower themselves through education and psychological support. The program has different educational modules that improve with the constant work of staff and volunteers. The majority of the workshops are focused on income-generating skills, as to give a lot of the women in the project financial independence. Volunteers in women empowerment are tasked with :
–Education: Volunteers can teach skills that are useful to the women in the project. Common subjects include basic financial literacy, entrepreneurship coaching, income-generating side projects, organizational and time management skills, etc.
–Psychological support: Some women attending this project come from abusive situations and support is always needed to help them gain confidence once again. The support can include self-esteem workshops or if you have the necessary experience, it can be in the form of psychological consultation.
-Marketing: Volunteers can help to market products made by women in the project and to help the project gain more visibility. Help in marketing can be digital or through traditional means.
Working hours are usually 6 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Arrival to the program are most Sundays.
On arrival you are greeted by our friendly coordinators and taken to your accommodation. Next day you meet with all the volunteers and interns that came the previous days for orientation.
In orientation we cover topics like:
-Do’s and dont’s in the country
-How to get around and weekend travel
-Your projects
-Communication, SIM cards , and currency.
-Social meet ups with other participants.
There are no requirements for this program other than being able to communicate at the project and work well in teams.

We encourage all of our participants in our programs to travel as much as they can during the weekends. Volunteers and interns usually travel together during the weekends. Our coordinators can assist you to make travels plans
During the weekdays volunteers and interns usually spend time together after their assignments.
Spanish classes are available at an extra cost in 20 hour blocks. Monday to Friday , 4 hours per day.

Volunteer in women empowerment and help give the right educational tools to women in vulnerable situations. Work involves education in life skills, income-generating projects, vocational training, counseling, and support. Seminars are organized to raise voices against domestic violence, eve-teasing & harassment.
The aim of the project is to make women more independent through education, self-esteem, and financial literacy.
Volunteer work is also available in orphanages working with girls.
Location: Jaipur
Volunteering schedule: Monday to Friday, 4- 8 hours per day.
Commitment: 1 week – 24 weeks.
Tasks:
-Helping plan and conduct sel-steem workshops and human rights.
– Teaching basic math,English,French and computer literacy.
-Assisting in teaching income generating skills.
-Psychological help(if qualified).
-Helping slow learners in the class.
-Teaching about basic financial literacy.
-Assisting in reproductive health workshops.
-Group-discussion sessions with the students.

English is the only requirement , however you can choose to take Hindi classes with us at an extra cost.

3. Traditional welcome (Garland, red dot on forehead etc.)

5. Accommodation in Jaipur volunteer house/host family. Private or double occupancy in a host family. Shared accommodation
6. All meals in Jaipur (Indian authentic meals)
7. Volunteering project placement
8. Assistance when required at the project
9. Help in booking weekend trips and activities
10. Last night stay in Jaipur volunteering house with all meals
11. Drop at Jaipur airport at the end of the program
Minimum commitment:1 week
Location:Jaipur , India
Accommodation: Private room in a welcoming host family with two meals per day or shared dorms in a volunteer hostel with access to a kitchen and meals.
